The Studio Sanctuary

After nearly going blind yesterday with typing and report writing I’m glad to be spending my afternoon making something. I don’t like being away from my studio. My studio is a meditative palace; a respite and haven from the task-juggling I usually end up doing. I treat my studio with the reverence of a chapel in that it provides me with mental and physical sanctuary when I need it most.

Right now I don’t care what I’m making. I have no reason for making this. I have no philosophy or ambitions for this little square. I do not know whether it will become something proper or just a prototype. All I know is that right now this little space is all I need.

And glue. Pass me the glue.
