Corporate Interests

My list of events and exhibitions to wind up and wind down seems to be getting longer rather than shorter and there seems to be so much going on at the moment it hurts.

One such exhibition is a bit of an odd one. I’ve been asked, along with 3 other fellow artists, to loan some of my work to a contemporary office space designed for creatives and professionals. As far as I’m concerned, any space is a potential gallery and any person looking at my art is a potential art buyer. This open and flexible approach means that I don’t ever feel constricted by opportunities and others have commented that as a result my attitude to exhibiting is refreshing.

A corporate space isn’t necessarily a dull space and a company which has a similar attitude to me will attract clients who are expecting something a little different. The eclectic mix of styles that we’re assembling as a collective means that there are possibilities here to create the right vibes for the right people.

Let’s hope I’ve got it right with my selection.
