The Most Wonderful Time

The festive season is an odd one. As a freelance a whole heap of work disappears and there’s the hope that invoices will be cleared so that I have a chance for more than porridge on Christmas Day.

Rather than worry about the financial disruption I embrace the chance to create. Between movies and chocolate I’m cutting Robot in Disguise and finally getting some sort of rhythm going with this piece.

The image on Ben’s source photograph is slowly starting to reveal itself now and it’s getting to the stage where we will have to start thinking about the assembly method for this piece. It’s the most wonderful time during the creation of a piece of art for me since it’s open to so many different directions and decisions before we get near to completion.

This will be a welcome addition to the Structured Chaos series which we’ll be rolling out via The Workers Gallery throughout 2016.
