Take it

I had around 400 words I wanted to write but every time I start writing I seem to end up with some sort of semi-righteous sentimental bullshit and I really do try to avoid such things.*

It’s that time of year when sentimentality and wish fulfillment seem to take over and pragmatism becomes redundant. I refuse to bow before such stuff so I’ll stop writing now before I descend into a rant about the futility of New Year’s Resolutions and the impracticality of basing all hopes and wishes on a few self-made promises just because “it’s tradition.”

Needless to say everything I was thinking can be condensed into three sentences:

The future is not yet written.
The path is yours to take.
Take it.

*although some who read this blog regularly may disagree.
