Bringing Gower Home to Graigfelen

Bringing Gower Home is still going strong. The aim of the project is to take 10 groups of people out to experience the Gower through photography and bring the results back home to share with friends and family. My photography workshops are all about the therapeutic nature of the camera and how it can be used to boost self-esteem, bring positivity, and empower the individual to see their world differently. Bringing Gower Home is aimed at people who would not normally visit Gower despite living in the Swansea Bay region. You can read more on this project by clicking here.

Today was the feedback session for the eighth Bringing Gower Home group comprising of Communities First participants in Graigfelen, Swansea. Here participants shared a cuppa and cake and chatted about their time at CHAPS last month. We had a gallery of participants best photographs which they took home afterwards, as well as another gallery of photographs taken from a different project I delivered here at Graigfelen last November.

Thanks to everyone who was there this morning. Hope to see you again soon. You can see the full set of photographs from this Bringing Gower Home group by clicking here.

I am organising, delivering, and supporting this project in collaboration with Gower Landscape Partnership (GLP) which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Natural Resources Wales, City and County of Swansea, and National Trust.
