Farewell Melin

Today was the last in a four week workshop over at Melincryddan in Briton Ferry. Mindful Melin encouraged participants to see their local environment in a more mindful way. For this final week everybody had a different task depending on their need for challenge from previous weeks. These personal projects were designed to challenge and stretch everybody to the max.

Everything was considered, from happy accidents to finding beauty in unexpected places. Some participants wanted to continue to look at selfies from last week’s challenge whilst others were more interested in revisiting locations from earlier weeks. To see the themes each participant worked on read the captions beneath the photographs here.

This group have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I’m hoping to catch up with them again later in the year and see how their Mindful Melin journey has progressed beyond these workshops.
