BOGOF at the Workers

Although loads of people go back to work this week, there’s still time for the January sales. Over at the Workers Gallery in Ynyshir you’ll have the opportunity to pick up all sorts of bargains from local independent artists. The Workers Gallery operates a little differently to most galleries since it is totally independent and self sustaining. Its mission is to drive the Rhondda art revolution forward and take as many people along with them on the adventure as possible. Without receiving any public funding this can be a real challenge but the entrepreneurial spirit is strong in this part of the world.

A top-rated gallery in the Rhondda is a rare thing and the Workers Gallery strives to support the local community just as much as it supports artists. I’m really pleased to be a gallery artist and I want you to share in the art that I show at the Workers. I’m offering 25% off all my artworks currently on show. I’m also offering BOGOF* on all my limited edition greetings cards.

Their annual sale and open days will be from 10am – 5pm on the 5th, 6th & 7th of January. If you can make it over to the gallery Gayle and Chris would love to see you. There will be a sale of discounted art cards, prints and some original artwork by a number of other artists plus some special gift items. From 8th January – 1st February Workers Gallery will then be closed for maintenance. The gallery is now offering a CollectorPlan option on a huge range of artwork in the gallery so saving up to get the art of your dreams is a thing of the past.

So there you go. Discounts, savings, and  a happy new start to 2017. Pop in and see what’s there. Do it quick though! I’ll be switching all my art around from the start of February so this really is your last chance to buy a whole heap of lovely art stuff. Find the gallery on Facebook for more details or visit the gallery at 99 Ynyshir Road, Rhondda, CF39 0EN
