Who are we?

Today we were looking at ideas on identity for the I am Great workshop at Townhill’s Phoenix Centre. We talked about fact and fantasy as well as history and personality. We played with the concept of being who we want to be for the camera rather than what society expects us to be.

These selfies are a welcome break from the norm. They speak of empowerment, anonymity, happiness, history, loss, affinity, and protection. Each picture tells a personal story documenting who we are, who we were, and who we wish we could be.
